I will rarely if ever write reviews but my experience at Farmers warranted one.

I have been sober from alcohol for almost five and a half years, and I was served an alcoholic cocktail after specifically ordering a mocktail here (confirming it was a mocktail when ordered). I could taste the liquor immediately and asked the server to check, when the bartender confirmed that it was a regular cocktail I was given. I received an apology from the server and an offer to have the drink remade without alcohol, which I declined (I will truthfully probably never have a mocktail again).

I typically hesitate to order mocktails in fear of this exact situation but I have visited Marrakesh and this restaurant once before (and enjoyed a mocktail then after clarifying with my server that I cannot have alcohol) and with Morocco having a large Muslim population, I figured it would be okay. Perhaps it was partially my responsibility to have specified again that I cannot have alcohol, but like I said, I did specify and confirm that I was ordering a mocktail.

I understand mistakes happen and I will also say that this restaurant otherwise serves fantastic food but this was inexplicably distressing emotionally. I spent the remainder of the dinner fighting back tears and the urge to be sick. I would have left if I was not dining with company. I simply can’t overstate the impact of this situation but anyone else who understands the struggle of sobriety would understand.

If you are sober or have allergies or other dietary restrictions due to health, religion, or preference, I would strongly caution you against visiting this restaurant and trusting them with the care of your...

If you're looking for a warm, welcoming dining experience in Marrakech, Farmers is a must-visit. The atmosphere is cozy yet vibrant, offering a perfect blend of traditional flavors with a modern twist. The dishes are fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, with options that cater to both local tastes and international preferences.

What truly sets Farmers apart, however, is the exceptional service, particularly from our waiter Kamal. From the moment we arrived, Kamal made us feel right at home with his friendly demeanor and attentiveness. He offered thoughtful recommendations based on our tastes and ensured that each dish arrived at the perfect temperature. His knowledge of the menu was impressive, and he seemed genuinely passionate about the food, which added an extra layer of enjoyment to the meal.

Kamal's impeccable service made our dining experience stand out, and he went above and beyond to ensure we were well taken care of throughout the evening. If you’re visiting Farmers, be sure to ask for Kamal—his hospitality is truly a highlight of the restaurant.

Overall, a fantastic meal in a lovely setting with service that makes you feel like family. Highly...

I wouldn’t be exaggerating if I said this is my favorite restaurant in all of Morocco. As an avid foodie and traveler who makes food the focal point of my life, I’m often disappointed by cookie-cutter restaurants in Morocco that focus more on presentation than actual flavor. I was ecstatic when I saw this restaurant featured in Time magazine and knew I had to try it. It’s a small, charming place decorated with so much intent and care. Everything is farm-to-table and absolutely delicious- truly worthy of a Michelin star. The chef is a young Moroccan talent who makes me so proud, and to top it all off, they serve some of the best cocktails I’ve had anywhere in Morocco. They’ll definitely be seeing me often. I want to eat what I already had again and also try everything else on the menu. My only concern was the little cat that snooped in toward the end of dinner , as someone with a serious cat phobia, that gave me a mini heart attack, lol. But apparently, he’s the master of the building. Great job to the whole team, keep up the amazing work, so proud.

An unforgettable dining experience at Farmer’s Restaurant! From the moment we sat down, everything—from the service to the food—was exceptional. We sampled a bit of everything and were blown away: the crudo was beautifully presented and beyond words, the roasted red peppers were rich and flavorful, the gnudi was pillowy and decadent, the sesame-crusted eggplant was a standout, and the beef tenderloin melted in our mouths. The hibiscus-poached pear with geranium ice cream was the perfect finish—beautifully balanced and full of flavor. The handcrafted cocktails were inventive, refreshing, and beautifully presented. Huge thank you to Zak, who made the night even more memorable with spot-on drink and food recommendations. His enthusiasm and expertise truly elevated the experience. Highly recommend if you’re looking for creative, well-executed cuisine and top-tier hospitality. A must-visit for anyone who loves elevated, thoughtful dining in a fun, welcoming setting.
