We stumbled across KissKo on our way out and I was saying to my friend we should check the place. We just came here for dinner on OMG it was so amazing. I initially opted for the Lamb Shank which the waiter Mona served us and she then recommended us the Mixed Grill so I changed my mind. She did serve the lamb shank at first but she managed to fix that up correctly. In addition, we also had a magician that came which we were not expecting and when I saw the talent that he had we were absolutely amazed.
Theere is a stage and the dj does encourage all the guests to do a little karaoke which can be nerve racking but it was fun afterall. Just to warn you, the music they play can be quite flirty but don't be alarmed no one was inappropriate.
As it was Ramadan, the place was very quiet but a blessing in disguise so that allowed the waiters and staff to have their full attention to detail, to the point staff were opening the doors for us when we were going to the toilet. In addition, there are some amazing offers during Ramadan which was actually cheap. I only paid £27 (UK equivalent) for a high class service that I've received which also included the Shisha. (Shisha was good not amazing)
Just to note, unlike other establishments there is no tourist levy at this place which makes it even more welcoming for tourists to attend and it is mainly...
Read moreI am slightly confused given all the previous reviews. It feels like they are all fake or we got unlucky.
We went to Kiss Ko on a Tuesday night at 8.15pm when the rest of the surrounding area was buzzing. We were the first in the really large plush restaurant (first red flag). We asked the receptionist when the place starts to get busy, she ignored the question, we asked again, she ignored it again (second red flag). We order drinks - they only serve non alcoholic which isn’t clear on the website, and by 9pm there is only one other table, who seemed like locals (third red flag). The place was beautifully decorated, with what seems like great potential but as the only guest by 10.15pm, it lacks atmosphere. The food also lacks (and given the low customer turnover - I question the quality of ingredients used if it’s not being...
Read moreArriving - we were sat in the middle of the restaurant/bar/smoke lounge, it was empty. So it felt very awkward. Water wasn’t offered after being at the table for nearly 20min. Presentation of the drinks were great, the taste wasn’t for us way too sweet.
Starters - Great we had spring roles, burrata and
Main - kiss burger x2 it was the worst meal we have had in Morocco. The burger we had probably 3 bites and couldn’t eat any more. The meat was nonexistent and just the sweet bbq sauce. It was bad really bad.
We spoke to one of the many waiters, who offered us a desert. We kindly said no and immediately asked for the bill.
Over all a bad experience I would not recommend Kiss Ko to anyone. It’s over priced and sub standard for food that they try and make up for with smoke...
