This is not an easy place to find, just a discrete brass plaque marks the entrance and you must knock to be let in. But once in you can't fail to be enchanted by the lovely ambience. I was prepared for the extensive fixed menu so didn't eat lunch. The cost is 650MAD per person and for that you get:- Your choice of Aperitif with olives Bottle of wine 8 meze starters (vegetarian) Chicken tagine Lamb tagine Couscous with vegetables 2 x deserts Tea or coffee It is a ridiculous amount of food for 1 person and I couldn't eat it all. The food is NOT authentic at all and overrated- I am Moroccan and I am ashamed to see restaurants like these pretend to make traditional Moroccan food. No flavors!! salads are tiny and basic, meat is chewy, flavorless couscous and tajines. And on top they charge 650 dhs per person (which is too high for the quality of food). A rip off! I was invited by international friends from London, and I wish they didn’t book this place… id recommend Sahbi Sahbi instead which has a varied menu with a closer taste to Moroccan cuisine or La grande table Marocaine at the Royal Mansour (high end). On another note, the place is cute, so I give one star to...

They only have tasting menu which includes wine and water, have seen people upgrading their wine to something else than the cheapest option, the option we were not aware of. Overall left happy and stuffed, but found some better places in town to eat, actually our Riad flor d'orient had better food (and cheaper)! A guide who takes you through winding alleys is a nice touch, very hard to find without him :)
