I stay here every time I go to Marrakech now, having sampled lots of different hotels and riads in the medina and Gueliz. It is about a 3 minute walk to the square, but removed enough not to hear the incessant noise. The staff are lovely and friendly, very accommodating and helpful. The rooms are well decorated with tadelakt and have comfy beds (not always the case in Marrakech) with good quality white cotton sheets (again, not always the case there). If you have one of the very early flights, they will arrange a taxi and the driver will come to the door to collect you and walk you to the taxi...very useful for a woman alone in the backstreets of the medina. Guests are very loud with kids running and laughing around past midnight. On our second night we went to complain about the noise and the reception staff couldn't care less. People always slamming doors and talking loudly on the corridors to the point that made me wonder if they sleep the whole day so they can go full energy wild during the night. A nightmare. If it was a hostel or anything else I could understand but if they call themselves a hotel the least they could do is to respect their...
