Hôtel Wissam — Hotel in Marrakesh Prefecture

Location of the Hotel is sublime. In less then a Minute you are on the square, at the exact spot where also taxis stop. for 35 euro's per night for 2 persons, this is a Bargain. The staff is nice and helpful but remember : Be nice and get treaten nicely! The Beds are pretty basic and hard. I thoroughly loved that but if you demand a soft matress this hotel and probably most of Morocco is not for you.

The bathroom: Toiletroll holder was missing, and the shower was just a hose with a showerhead with no means to hang it on the wall. More important, it was downright filthy! Everything lower then kneehight was black with grime and muck. (could remove some it with only a wet towel!) Disgusting! Sorry Hotel Wissam, maintaining and cleaning a bathroom this poorly is a matter of choice. Choose better! a lot better! Fix the bathrooms and replace the cleaning ladies for better ones! Then you might even charge a little more.

Firstly, the room was filthy and appeared not to have been cleaned for a long time. The bed sheets were dirty and hadn’t been changed. The bathroom was covered in grime on the walls and around the toilet. The bed was extremely hard, making it uncomfortable to sleep. Additionally, both the air conditioning and the TV were broken and not working. One of the walls was leaking water from somewhere, and I even had to kill a cockroach in the room. The quality of sleep was poor due to the noise coming from the courtyard every night. People were constantly talking until 1 a.m. The walls in the room were thin, making it easy to hear everything. I recommend spending a little more to find a clean hotel where you can sleep...
