A couple of friends and I went this past weekend to celebrate a birthday, and unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. First, we were surprised by the $10 cover charge—especially since there was no live band or artist performing. They did have a DJ, so maybe that’s what the cover was for, but most bars only charge when there’s a live performance. To make things even more confusing, a group of people sitting on a golf cart outside told me that we had to pay $25 to get in. I ignored them and paid the $10 cover to the actual bouncer, who was polite and professional. Once inside, seating was extremely limited—just a few small stools. When I asked our waitress (who was very nice) if there were any extras, she said I could grab one of the available ones. However, when I did, a bartender rudely told me I couldn’t take it and to put it back. The waitress told me again it was fine, but when I tried another stool, a different bartender quickly took it away. The bartenders overall seemed frustrated and like they didn’t want to be there. On top of that, they automatically added an 18% gratuity for parties of four or more—even though we weren’t seated together. We were literally spread out in different areas of the bar, and some friends arrived an hour later but were still added to the same tab. They only had two drinks and still got hit with the group gratuity, which made no sense. The food was okay but took about an hour for a simple order of wings, and my drink had little to no alcohol in it. Overall, we didn’t have a good experience and won’t...
Read moreI have been to Names and Faces twice and I am highly disappointed. On my first visit, I ordered the wings and fries. The wings were cooked so hard I could barely eat them and they tasted like they were still frozen before they cooked them and all they did was throw some hot sauce on top of them. I figured maybe because they had several people in there, they may be rushing a little. I gave them another and went today. There were only three people sitting at the bar. I ordered the chicken quesadillas. They only give you a small cup of salsa and sour cream so I asked for additional and told her I would pay for it. She cut me off and said there's some in the bag but I will give you some more. It took about 20 minutes to bring our food and looking at it I don't understand why. They are 8.00 plus tax but taste like something precooked and small. They were not good at all. If they put alot more effort in to their food, this would be a great place. As for now, I will not...
Read moreI visited Names and Faces for the first time with a friend yesterday. The beef nachos were delicious and our drinks were even better! We met two of the gals that worked there, Cinny and Bre, goodness they were sweet and inviting. The establishment is clean and great to wind down. The only downside was the crowd.. it filled quickly (which is a great thing) but the customers were very rude to our waitresses. At the time there was an overflow of people. I witnessed a waitress being cursed at, shouted at and a man actually pulling ones arm. Its almost amazing how the girls remained professional and worked the crowd with smiles. I want to send them positive affirmations! I am a business owner and and I would love to have employees with that attitude. Its amazing! I'm going back this Thursday, because I love Ciroc! I just wish the customers entitlement wasn't so harsh, but overall,...
