Location 4/5 - Nicely located adjacent to Sarjapur main road, with parking facilities for 3-4 cars opposite Kaikodranahalli lake. Security guard helps with parking. Given the location well arranged.
Ambience & facilities 3/5 - It's single floor restaurant with separate AC/ Family section.
Service 4/5 - Serving and recommendations were really good. Order delivery on table speed is much faster as compared to other places.
Food variety & taste 4/5 - Have got really good spread of food & drink options, for family kind the places. Mostly south indian and Chinese.
Value for Money 2/5 - Food & Drink prices are overrated, portion varies food to food hence do ask for size but i found it to be lesser for the price and 2 person. What we had ordered, I found prices costlier than any other places in the town. check-out the same in Zomato, worst ratings.
Overall 3/5 - Not a must must try place, very average food, ambience, good service. We went on Saturday night and it was...
Read moreThis is a brilliant Fine Dining SOUTH-INIDIAN Resturant. The best Traditional South Indian I have ever had, with the fineness. Certainly most of them like this place and traditional cum authentic food. Services are rendered by volunteers (they do social services at the other hand) as well and there is a friendly gesture and care. The variety rice: coconut, gingely, bringal etc are simply nice and not generally available even in other restaurant. Juices and minx of juices, panakam etc are very good to have. Their pickle variety includes rare things like Mavadu (baby mango), More Mahali (it is a root of some plant immersed in buttermilk), Nartha ilia podi (bitter lime leaves powder).
It is certainly worth eating at least once whenever you are in Chennai and like to look and feel and relish a pure veggie restaurant though cost wise it is cheap.
We ordered hydrabadi biryani and Andra meals with some kolhapuri paneer and Naan.
It's a complete paisa...

Have also tried other stuff like mushroom masala, chicken and mutton starters - all have been quite good. Loved the mutton ghee roast during our most recent visit. Also, I was surprised to see nice and soft phulkas served at a south Indian restaurant- it completely took me by surprise. One negative: Did not like the Andhra style biryani. It was awful - the rice felt dry and lacking flavor. Chicken pieces were also unevenly cooked. Left a sour taste in the mouth to an otherwise...
