Visited Won Korean recently - June 28,2021. I had a series of foul experience after right after their cheerful Namaste! First, we weren't allowed tables in the open garden area (which was part of the reason for visiting Won), also we had confirmed 2 days prior if dine-in was still an option. They said yes! After our arrival, we were directed inside a dark room which must have been Hotel Ngudrup's guest room. Simply, they had placed bbq tables inside of a guest house's room. We had walked from Boudha, we were feeling hot, there wasn't Ac or fan which is all right. But there was not even lighting facility (or wifi ofc) atm, they said electricity was cut off. It was a spacious facility with 2 diff service house, even small companies have generator incase of emergency as such. I believe service to guest is an emergency in hospitality business! Had they offered candles or shown some concern, we would feel better. Second, as we took our seats, we see 2 A4 size paper stuck on the walk which translated to 1person= minimum of 1 food order as a compulsion. What do they want to imply through such message? Do you mean if one of us came for company and not hungry, they must wait at your gate? Or do you just care for your selling and we have to order even if it would be waste or take home even when not needed? First thing, Korean food is not like the typical nepali junk food (e.g momos). Usually, 1 person with average apetite is unable to finish one set meal bc Korean food come with side dishes and rice which is heavier. I have seen no wall of Nepali restaurant as rude as their's. Next one of the dishes we ordered was Samgyeopsal, it was priced Nrs 1100 + 13%Vat in their Menu. We received 7 small side dishes, Korean leaves about 2 sizes of palm sized meat. About meat is was thicker than other Korean restaurant, I can't tell if its a good or a bad thing for samgyeopsal however, the portion of meat was shocking. They claim its Nepali local pork, we all knw pork price in Nepal. For a bill of Nrs 1100, i dont knw how many grams of meat were we served. Even the Korean leaves which is part of the set was like leftovers- most were too small not the size to fit a typical korean Samgyeaopsal bite with rice and side dishes. The big sized leaves, if we'd bought home we normally throw the rough outer layer of leaves we buy.

On the bright side, Charcoal bbq is fancier than electric bbq- they use that. Side dishes were flavourful compared to other places. Whatsoever, we had a bad expeirence at Won Korean P.s they had advertised on their special lockdown menu offering 20% off (most popular lunchbox), which wasnt in their regular menu. We thought why not try one of thier special menu with offer as well.as we asked if lockdown menu was in available too. The guy asked- you'll only have lockdown menu? We said why not try your special offer dish too, he ran to asked the owner. We were denied. They said it was only for takeaway. We would have understood if only the plastic box plate was available but that wasn't the reason why they refused. And suggested we could pack and take home after we finished our dine in food. It's so disrespectful, they could even say that I dont knw how to feel. It was dissapointing mostly service and treatment wise, food was okay, during lockdown period we dont get to experience the best taste usually everywhere. But, as a customer experience- a...

Ok so this place has staffs that's full of confidence but has no idea about customer service. Food was ok, but the staff couldn't explain how it tasted. And the dining area is like a hangout place for them. They asked me to ring the bell for assistance, when I could just call them. They were standing 5 meters from me. The whole restuarant was empty when I got there and he told me we could sit anywhere. After being seated he comes back and says this table is for 6 people, and asked me to shift to another table again. I asked him if it was reserved and his answer was its saturday so we might have customers. So we did move to another table. The staff kept interrupting us while we sit. Sometimes asking us to move our glasses, and sometimes menu. The service was the worst. They were just changing the music and watching the video while we waited for water. I recommend no one to go there unless , you want to experience the same thing. And they charge you 10 percent service charge which is more than they deserve. DO NOT...

I had the pleasure of dining at a Korean restaurant in Boudha recently, and it was truly a fantastic experience. The food there was simply amazing, offering a wide variety of authentic Korean dishes that left my taste buds dancing with joy. The flavors were so rich and satisfying, and the way they presented the dishes was impeccable.

What really made the experience special, though, was the wonderful atmosphere. The restaurant had this warm and inviting vibe, and the staff were incredibly friendly. They made us feel like we were among friends, and the music and decor only added to the overall charm. It's the kind of place where you can enjoy a great meal while having a fantastic time with your friends or family.

All in all, I can't recommend this Korean restaurant in Boudha enough. If you're in the mood for some delicious Korean cuisine and a place with fantastic vibes, this is the spot...
