Great assortment of pastries. They had an open kitchen and it was amusing to see people making the baked goods, making you realize that there‘s a lot of hard work put into each of the creations.
Bought a croissant, pain au chocolates, and carrot cake for take aways. Do notice there are quite a few ‚rules‘. There‘s a sign that mentioned that ‚no self service allowed‘ which means that you need to point and mention the ones that you want to bought to the employee despite the patisserie display being right next to you, unlike in some other places where they are positioned behind a bar. Her response was dismissive and unkind, which really caught me off guard.
It’s sad to see such a beautiful store with genuinely great pastries have its experience ruined by poor customer service. A little kindness, passion, or even just a smile would’ve made all...
