Beyoglu Restaurant & Café — Restaurant in Amsterdam

An order that was supposed to take 45 mins,took double the time. When I called them to check, first they could not locate the order, and then once they found it said it's going to take time - " we are busy" .I expressed dissatisfaction with the delay ,to which the lady on the phone quite harshly said " ya I don't work in the kitchen,what can I do? If you don't want your order tell me, I'll call the delivery guy"

I requested her to speak nicely and not be so harsh, to which I was told " I'll try that next time "- and then she hung up on me !!!!!

It's not what we say to customers.but how we say it! Really poor service and was sad to witness the attitude towards customers on the phone . Maybe she was having bad day ? Maybe understaffed and busy and underpaid... All I wanted was a polite conversation and to know why the delay.Clearly was too much...

A great Turkish restaurant in Amsterdam with fresh and delicious food. The kebabs were juicy and full of flavour, and I especially loved that they served grilled vegetables on the side, a really nice touch. The place was quite popular, with many people coming in to eat, and they even have a private room for birthday celebrations, which is a fantastic option for groups of about 20–30 people.

However, there were a couple of downsides. None of the staff spoke English, which made communication a bit difficult. For example, instead of rice we were served French fries. Also, the restaurant seemed understaffed, so it took at least 20 minutes to get the bill or any other request handled.

Overall, the food and atmosphere were excellent, but service could definitely...

After waited for my delivery more than 1,5 hours, decided to call the restaurant to ask about my order. The guy answered that you can wait 2-3 hours, there are also other people waiting for 3 hours. I replied that why are you waited people for so long without informing them whatever the case is, then he said I am cancelling your order, do you want it or not!!!! This behaviour is unacceptable. I read the comments here that they did the same thing for other customers. What a nice service mentality :) This was my last order, I regret for giving them a second chance after delivering my previous order spilled. I will order from any restaurant even less tasty but respectful to...
