The only reason I stopped at this cafe was because it was the meeting spot for the canal cruise I was going to take. I didn't eat (as I had just has a snack somewhere else) but I did get a drink and stared longingly at the food around me at other tables.
Even though I didn't try any of it, I can tell you that the food looked and smelled fantastic.
The service was pretty good. I liked how they didn't even bat an eye when people walked in to just use the bathroom.
The ambiance of this place is really cute too. Small but intimate and cute. The owner or manager (not sure which) had the CUTEST dog as well. That's a reason to come in right there. LOL!!!

When we asked when it was coming we were told ‘oh sorry but the bar is already clean’, so we understandably mentioned ‘sure, could we maybe then get a beer instead’ knowingly that if a tub would be placed underneath the bar, there would have been no problem compensating us for the cocktail we ordered (probably because the staff wanted to go home). Read moreWe went inside and told the guy in the bar "We gotta eat something in 30 minutes before we go to hop on a boat ride" and he told us that the bar snacks only take 10 minutes to be done, so we ordered a bit of variety to try some famous local dishes.
Ten minutes later we were already eating, so they weren't lying at all.
The dishes were all amazing but oh boy the Goatcheese Croquettes... I'd go back to Amsterdam from Argentina just to try those croquettes again. I loved them!!!
