What a horrible experience! I even do not feel the need to mention that we waited more than half an hour under the rain after what we experienced on the boat. The boat departed however it was impossible for skipper to see anything as he was standing in the middle of the boat and boat was covered and there were steam on the plastic windows! And 10 mins after departure the boat hit the bridge very hard that one of the passengers flew on us with the effect of the hitting. And after the accident skippers were trying to make the boat straight and continue however a couple of passengers mentioned their concern on safety and that we want to go back. Then they decided to take the boat back, and it took another half an hour to go back (the distance was very short, we were in front of central station) with a boat that the skipper cannot see where he was going. And we were told that we will change the boat and continue, but for sure nobody wanted that. Rain and cold in Amsterdam is not a surprise, this is a company not cancelling the tours for the sake of not losing money and putting in danger the customers and also their staff!!! Never ever again if there were less than 1 stars I would have...

What an absolutely ridiculous experience!!!

It was a rainy day and despite the fact that we were waiting like sheep out there in the cold for 40 minutes without any update, we finally entered a boat that was supposed to be a luxury boat (we booked for what was called 'Amsterdam Light Festival Canal Cruise on Luxury Boat' with Amsterdam Boat Experience) and instead of luxury or even a decent closed boat, there was a boat with detachable plastic hood and as a result everything was wet inside, we were adivsed to open a window because we couldn't really watch anything through the plastic, so the water was dripping all over us and finally we had the whole tour soaking wet to the bone !!! I was severely pissed though the whole process and just wanted to end. I can only describe this as a total scum. Of course, the girl that was our guide was very polite, nothing to do with her, just the description of the service provided is severely...

If there were zero stars I would rate it as such. Booked a “luxurious saloon boat” with drinks and snacks for 40+€ per person. Upon arrival at the pier we were escorted to a boat with plastic detached windows that offered bad visibility. I couldn’t believe it so I showed the staff with my ticket once more to make sure it wasn’t a mistake 🤣 The interior was dated and nothing close to luxurious from furnishing to seating etc paper and plastic cups provided for wine and as for snacks there was a handful of salted pretzel snacks per person. As far as the duration is concerned, it was advertised as a 75minute tour and it lasted only 55 minutes. I believe it is a scam and a tourist trap. Such a shame because it’s extremely overpriced.
