d'Overkant — Restaurant in Amsterdam

We were with a a group of 25, so I can imagine that it can be a challenge for a Small restaurant like this. Still its at the same time also a great opportunity for a restaurant to give the best service and make a great group really happy. Unfortunately it didn't work out. The food was okay, but for a premium price. The service was not great. They mixed up orders, forget drinks and in the didn't event ask if we wanted new drinks at all. At least it felt like it. This restaurant is on a perfect location for people visiting the Rai exhibition halls, so I would say seize it and make it a great success. Unfortunately they didn't do it while we were there. I wish them the best and hopefully they will change some things for the better in the future, as lots of restaurant owners must be jealous on...

I can't comment on the food as our table has been waiting over an hour & it still hasn't been delivered. Some people who came in after us have already eaten and left but there are other tables in the same situation as us. Complete chaos though the food we have seen going to other tables looks good. I stubbled upon this restaurant today while attending the boat show.
