Pisa IJs — Restaurant in Amsterdam

Come here once a year whenever I am in Amsterdam as their ice cream is so good! Love the pitaschio & after 8. This time, I forgot that they didn’t take foreign cards and I didn’t have any cash on me. The lady was so nice and told me to take the ice cream first and go opposite for the ATM. When I reached the machine, it was sadly out of order and I went back to apologise and mentioned that I will definitely be back by end of the week to pay for it or to see what else can be done. She was so nice and asked “Did you enjoy the ice cream? “ to which I nodded and she said that’s all that is important. That really touched me and I always remember that.

End of the week, I finally had some cash on me and we went back to pay and get more ice cream but sadly she wasn’t there but her colleagues were equally nice and knew the story, so writing this here in hopes of letting her know that she totally made an impact from her kind gestures and such a wonderful story for me to share...

The ice production facility causes serious disturbance to multiple residents on both sides of the building.

I live on Cornelis Trooststraat, on the opposite side of the street, and I still experience significant noise. During the day, there is constant loud noise: doors are slammed shut, loud music is frequently played, and noisy machines cause sound throughout the inner garden. At night, operations continue with the stacking of aluminum trays and more machine noise.

They have definitely really good ice cream and super good vibes ♥️ I tried cookie and I liked that it was not as expected American cookie but I guess it was more of an Italian cookie and then I had an innovative flavour which I absolutely loved, it was bread with butter and jam and it was such a joy to have some special flavours and overall ice cream quality was super good 🥰🥰🥰 this made my day!!
