De Pizzabakkers Haarlemmerdijk — Restaurant in Amsterdam

yesterday we went late lunch here, overall it was pretty good. Restaurant is nicely decorated, it has 2 levels, especially the higher level in the afternoon with sunshine gets through! I ordered seasonal soup, but had to request bread to go with it. My boyfriend ordered "regular" pizza but later turned out to be "Groot" and charged as Groot, which i find it's a bit annoying. Soup tastes absolutely great, I loved it! Pizza is with mozzarella cheese + small pieces of sausages it doesn't have so much taste honestly, maybe a bit of pesto would help. This was our third time here and I cannot stress how abysmal the service and food both were today.

We waited 20 minutes for our drinks post ordering after reminding both servers of it. The table that came after us got their drinks first. Then the food came and they didn’t get the order right but rectified it when we told them. The table in front of us was so tired of asking for cutlery after getting their pizza, they went down and got it themselves. We asked for warm water multiple times and both times we got ice cold water.

Sadly, terrible food due to an obvious switch to very cheap ingredients. Unflavoured tomato purree with cheap cheese as a pizza base, salad was a miniscule piece of cheap mozzarella with basically only arugula, and the panacotta tasted like the inside of a stale fridge. We paid 40 euros for our order, yet it looked like less than 10 euros of ingredients, assembled with zero effort. We threw it all away and ordered somewhere else.
