Ordering a pizza here for takeout is like the average Tinder date: high expectations but a huge disappointment and regret afterwards. After being ignored for the first minute upon entry, and I almost had to do a little dance to be noticed, I left the place when my order was ready with a perfectly designed big pizza box under my arm getting all in the mood for my once-a-year comfort food (yeah sorry, I won’t be a regular visiting customer anyhow). At home I discovered that this big inviting box contained such a TINY broad-crusted sloppy pizza (for a not so modest price), miles off from what is being sold as a ‘refined art of Roman-style pizza’, that I feel slightly ripped off. Let’s be honest Pizzabakkers it’s an ‘economical Dutch-style pizza’. Not a good start for a new shop in our neighbourhood, which had potential but appears to be all marketing blabla with sales pictures here which deviate from reality. Check the difference 🤣

I’ve had Pizzabakkers in another location before and it was great, so I decided to order two pizzas from this branch ,but what I received was completely unacceptable (like the picture). It took 1.5 hours for the order to arrive, even though the restaurant is only 3.8 km away, which should take no more than 7–8 minutes. I paid €40 for cold, poorly presented pizzas that looked nothing like what I expected,it honestly felt like a joke. I called the restaurant, and the lady who answered simply said: "I don’t understand what your problem is, there’s nothing we can do. It’s a delivery issue." No apology, no empathy, just a dismissive response. This was not just disappointing; it was terrible service. The lack of after-sales support or basic courtesy was shocking. I will definitely never order from this location again. Sadly, this kind of attitude seems all too common in Amsterdam, but this experience was truly one of the worst.

Authentic Italian pizza at its best! The pizzas are delicious, stone-cooked with a superb sourdough base. The prices were super reasonable too. Make sure to start with the focaccia and dips—the pesto dip is a must-try! The pizza portions are generous; I even had enough to take half home. Don't miss the tiramisu—it's creamy, fluffy, and has a delightful light coffee flavor. The restaurant has created a green oasis outside, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a meal. The location is fantastic, right by the green, multi-level architectural building. Highly recommend!

The staff was very friendly and very much on top of everything. 5 stars for service. The pizza on the other hand... not good. There was some sorta mix up in the kitchen and the pizza came missing a couple of the toppings (it was missing aubergine and tomato) and came with a topping on it that I requested left off. Due to the lack of toppings and sauce I thought it tasted bad personally to the point I couldn't eat it. My girlfriend was reluctantly eating it but seemed displeased with every bite until she finally gave up trying to eat it. She said that the crust was lukewarm and the toppings cold like the pizza wasn't cooked enough. The antipasti, on the other hand, was warm and delicious. I'm not sure what happened with the pizza but it was very disappointing since I've really been looking forward to eating here and thought perhaps it could be a new go-to place. It's such a shame since the location is so beautiful but I feel so reluctant at the thought of...
