Dunkin' Amsterdam Centraal — Restaurant in Amsterdam

Please this place needs some serious senior management intervention. The place is run by inexperienced people who seem to have little training in giving the correct customer service and are unable to make drinks to a consistent specification. For example went to DD on Friday, had a shaken lemonade. Had the Same drink Saturday in DD plus another for my friend and both drinks were horrid/weak. Spoke to the manager. She was up to her eyeballs with customers, however she did promise to change the drinks. Give me 5 minutes she said. Waited 10mins and she still didn't come over and change the drinks. A new staff member turned up to start shift. I explained to her the problem, she understood and promised to change the drinks, handed over the drinks to her, drinks changed and instead of putting lemon in one and watermelon in the other. She put strawberry flavour in both! We had a train to catch and couldn't hang around much longer. Accepted the drinks when tasted the drinks were pumped too much with strawberry syrup. The central station doesn’t offer much in terms of cafés, this is the only one besides the chocolate café closer to the entrance. If you have a train ticket there’s probably another cafe inside the paid gates.

The staff were more interested in talking to each other than doing the work. We ordered two drinks and a donut, and besides us there’s only one lady already enjoying her drink at a nearby table. Drinks came a few minutes later than we’d liked, not a huge problem.

Coffee was quite good for a Dunkin’s. I don’t know why the cups were Halloween ones seeing as that was last month, but what was more annoying was that the lids weren’t meant for hot drinks, with a straw cutout in the middle. Donuts were fluffy and chewy typical of the franchise,...

There is a staff in the shop, who is super rude and racist. We are holding our phone and buying a donut, and she is being very rude and asking us if we are filming her. And said ‘we have privacy in Netherlands , I don’t want my face to be filmed“. As tourists, If we want to film something we would want to film something nice and pretty, and i don’t think she lives up to our standard. Dunkin should really be careful Choosing their employees and train them how to be polite. This is so bad for the brand , this is how your staff treating the customers by accusing them. Besides, donuts sucks big time. Overpriced as well. Stay away from this shop and that employee. She must be really hating her job...
