Going in with the intention to sell 100+ games on a Sunday, I asked if they wanted me to come back the next day as I wanted to bring two consoles in then anyway. This request was declined and we were told pricing would be done within 15 minutes (that became half an hour).
According to the salesman, 2/3 of the Xbox games we brought were damaged. Therefore were offered around 10℅ of the actual value for these (I had checked every single second hand price online prior to the visit, but due to time constraint wanted to sell in bulk). Fair enough if the games were scratched, but they did still work. However, for the third that was in perfect condition he offered approximately 20-40℅ of the second hand value which I found way below acceptable for the amount of games we brought in. I again asked to come back the next day as I wanted to consult my friend that wanted me to sell the games if he wanted to agree to this, but was forced to decide on the spot with no option of bringing the same games back later, which meant I left the games in poor condition with the shop and sold the others elsewhere.
I understand a seller needs to make his margins, but regardless of underpriced offers I also found it a poor business strategy to be rude to clients. I had a feeling the guy tried to guilt trip me about the half hour he spent on controlling the games when he actually failed to explain beforehand that he would only give one "take it or leave it and never come back" offer.
Although the shop is special because of its retro game offering and the guy I dealt with (possibly the owner) did seem to care about caring about and inspecting the goods prior to a sell, the experience I had service wise left much room for...
Read moreIt is a pretty small shop but they fit a lot of different stuff in that small area! I came her for the k-pop albums and they have quite the selection! They have one bookcase which I am pretty sure are used or older albums? And then theres a locked glass cabinet with unopened and newer releases! I was very happy with my purchase! The down side was due to that the shop is pretty small I had three girls sit in front of the bookcase and not letting me get a look on the albums, two of them weren't even looking at the albums but were just scrolling through their phones, so that was a bit of a downside even though that cannot be blamed at the employees or the store itself.. but they also don't accept all types of debit- and credit cards, which I was not aware of. But on the other hand there is an ATM not far from the store and you can ask the cashier to hold your products for a few moments! The employees were friendly and spoke good english. Would come again if ever...
Read moreWonderful shop! The staff is nice and helpful and they have a large selection of both games, Jpop and Kpop. I found albums by both very well known K-pop groups as well as “nugu” artists who I didn’t expect to, but was thrilled to find. The price corresponded well to the albums condition and the amount of inclusions. Top row of my photo was €6 each and bottom row €12-15 each. There are some very pricey albums too, but that depends on rarity. Of well known groups to find there, I personally saw Seventeen, Ateez, Stray Kids, BTS, SHINee, NCT, I’ve, Dreamcatcher, Aespa among others. Lots of photocards too and of the albums I bought 5/6 had 1 card included. Some of the albums also had their inclusions like sticker sheets, posters etc. I’m both sad and happy that I don’t know of a shop like this in Denmark because my pockets would be empty and my...
