Mokumboot Canal Tours — Local services in Amsterdam

I had a lot of high hopes for this as this is my wife's and ours first time in Amsterdam and we wanted to do a canal tour that's not in a big boat like Lover's cruise. I had gotten the I Amsterdam card and it was included as an experience. Everything was going smoothly until we had to get there.

Using the directions from Google map and Apple map we were led to a spot on the canal that had no one there. There were signage or people around the area at all. We even asked other people who worked in the area where the address is and they pointed to the same area. Except, again, no one was there and there was no signage for Mokumboot. We were wandering around forever and didn't find anything. We had initially arrived there 30 mins early.

Finally, I emailed the company as I could not call them due to me only having Internet and no number to actually call them from. Anyways, as expected I don't get a response. It wasn't a huge deal, we just decided to do something else. However, the most infuriating thing is that I received an email thanking us for taking the tour with them!! So they obviously didn't even attempt to look at or answer my email. Nor did they even know that I didn't show up/check in with them. Hope everyone else has a better...

This was hands down one of the highlights of our trip to Amsterdam. Cruising through the canals with Mokumboot was the perfect way to experience the city — relaxed, beautiful, and full of charm. What really set this tour apart from others was the smaller, more intimate boat, which made for a much more personal and enjoyable experience compared to the big, crowded boats we saw elsewhere.

Our guides, Pascal and Flores, were absolutely fantastic — super friendly, knowledgeable, and full of fun facts and great energy. The boat was comfortable and well-kept, and the pace was perfect for taking in the views and snapping photos. We loved every minute of it and would 100% recommend this experience to anyone...

Had an amazing canal tour with the captain and guide onboard! There were only 2 other ladies onboard with us which makes the tour very cosy and nice. It is a rather small open boat as compared to other operators which have huge boats & a glass overhead. Prefer this as it has better view & smaller group (I think the boat probably can only fit up to 20pax in full capacity?)

They also offer drink on board with reasonable price. You can purchase it onboard. We had one glass of white wine and one glass of rose wine for 9.5€.

The boarding area is not prominent, and we almost missed it as it does not have an obvious stand/booth. So glad we didn't as the experience was really good &...
