money from our wallet disappeared after we forgot our bag there, staff way too rude about it instead of showing support. it was closing time, and we were the last ones to leave. when we came back to take our bag from somewhere the inside of their bar (not where we left it) we noticed the cash in the wallet was just gone. coincidence wants right outside we saw another group of people, same problem: forgotten backpack, 250€ in cash disappeared. we lost 50€ instead. so we go back there all together, asking to get in because like I said the door was closed, the owner, instead of showing worry and support, like a innocent/normal/polite!! person would do, she started to scream at us, since the beginning actually, nervous even when she didn't even know about the problem yet. she screamed at us to go away..saying we should be thanksful that she immediately collected our bags and put them aside.. maybe we would have preferred she didn't do it..! plus what else was she supposed to do, throw them away?? well.. karma rules tell you will get at least this review honey, unpolite...
Read moreWe absolutely LOVE this place. We visit Vondelpark Park on our holiday to Amsterdam every year and our visit is never complete without a lovely afternoon spent at this cafe! The atmosphere is lovely, views are awesome, there is plenty of seating and the food is delicious and very cheap! Our first ever visit to Amsterdam was child free and we found this cafe whilst walking from our hotel to the city centre, we stopped here and looked at all the families enjoying themselves, we looked at the playpark and wildlife and knew that we'd be coming back next time with our son. And we have every year ever since. So this place is very special to us. The playpark is awesome, lots of different things to do and last summer there were crafts, bouncy castles and rides! We can sit here for hours and not be bored. There are restrooms which you can use for a fee, they are very clean and well stocked! This is a great place for families or couples and we would strongly recommend it to anyone. We will be back this August and...
Read moreHad I been writing a book on bad customer service, I’d have enough material for two. Usually, I try not to post negative reviews, but I feel a moral responsibility to share our experience. Well, where to start? Upon our arrival, the short bald waiter, without so much as a ‘welcome’, accused us of having jumped the queue in an abrupt manner (when the people behind us arrived 10 mins after us). Afterwards, he showed us a table that was big enough to accommodate a group of three toddlers. When we finally sat down, a blonde waitress gave us the dirtiest of looks when we dared ask for some menus. When the food arrived, it arrived without any cutlery and napkins. At that point, all the waiters were no where to be seen. I dined all over Europe and I have never been treated with such disdain. Absolutely vile behaviour. Would recommend people to avoid, avoid, avoid unless they are researching what not to do in...
