De Pizzabakkers Willemsparkweg — Restaurant in Amsterdam

Occasionally we come across places that we can say just blindly get in and enjoy. This is one such rare place. Don't look at the size or the way it looks and walk back. Trust and try. It was unfortunate that we fell in love with their antipasti and salads, and just could not get past them to reach their main course. The pizzas were looking so inviting. But due to a tiny space left in our tummies by then, we decided to ditch them and go for their panna cotta. It is a small place run by people who love to cook tasty food casually without any show off (like we see in Italian traditional homes), and love to serve. They are so happy that we are happy. Excellent value for money, subtle prices. After having touched almost every one of their starters, two white wines, two panna cottas and coffees, we paid only 120€. So, what are you waiting...

Delicious pizza paired with warm and attentive service! This pizzeria is an absolute cosy gem. The pizza is simply outstanding — perfectly baked crust, fresh ingredients, and bursting with flavor in every bite. You can really tell they care about quality!

What truly made the experience exceptional was the service. The staff were genuinely welcoming, smiling, and so attentive to every little detail — from helping with recommendations to checking in with care, without ever being intrusive.

Went there on my own hoping to have a delightful time enjoying some pizza while on a business trip. Was refused access to the tables because I was just one - on my own. All I was offered was to have dinner sitting on a stool at the bar. Like someone who would have a quick drink. The place was not crammed nor busy since it was 7pm only. Coming from France, I don’t understand why they would treat potential customers like that. This is mere nonsense. Do you have to be a group of 10 to be allowed to properly sit at a table ?
