I chose Hasta La Vista to have my birthday dinner here earlier this week. I have first booked a table for four people, but then had to rebook it for five. I called the restaurant couple of days in advance, and they said there’s no problem with changing the number of people for that day and that they changed it in the system. When we arrived, it turned out that the change was not noted, and we were seated at the table for four, which was alright ish space-wise but we had to wait and ask two times to bring everything for the fifth person (I mean plate, cutlery, etc.). I also had a lot of flowers with me and had to wait for thirty minutes and ask three times for someone to help me bring a vase or put them somewhere. In the meantime I was holding wet flowers on my lap because there was nowhere else to place them. The waiter did not come to our table in the first 20 minutes at all, and then I had to ask twice for attention to our table. It was same with asking for a bill. As I learnt later, during dinner my friends tried for an hour to order a dessert for me as a bday surprise, they asked several different waiters and they didn’t do anything. When I was asking for a bill our waiter said: Already? Someone told me you were also waiting for a dessert or something.. (this was meant as a surprise, but okey..in the end we didn’t wait for it anymore of course) In summary, the service is a disaster and I will never come here again or recommend it to anyone. The food was not particularly impressive, but also not bad. The portions are small, but we would have ordered more to try other dishes from the menu if it was not for the poor service and waiting times to order something. I really liked the interior though, so it’s shame that the overall experience...
Read moreThe ambiance in this is restaurant and bar is simply amazing.
The guy at the reception however, turned us 7 away because our reservation was at 21:15 and not at 20:30 when we arrived thinking we could have a drink at the bar. The bar however was reserved for a private event so that I understand. The restaurant however I could quickly see had 3 tables with in total 6/9 chairs, 6 chairs at their restaurant bar which were empty and he still turned us away. We had to wait outside and when coming back in the same 3 tables 6/9 chairs and 6 chairs, but also more tables and chairs when I now could see the entire restaurant, were still empty.
He had us 7 wait outside simply because it wasn't our reserved time.
They could have made more money from us being earlier, they could have had great ambassadors for their restaurant and a possible fantastic service, but simply chose to turn us away. Not only ut but two other parties , one was a single man who just wanted to have a drink, and one was a couple who apparently didn't have a reservation.
As we sat down down when we came back, they first seperated our group in 5 and two with two far apart tables simply because the guys at the reception that is our reservation. it wasn't until we complained to the manager that they simply added two chairs to our big table.
The restaurant had I counted 5 empty tables, 1 empty bar and a total of 24 chairs empty ..
they turned us and the others away ..
w h a t ... an.. awful guy at...

What was not good: food was average if not below average, very small portions, one dish is 30€ on average, and you need at least 3 if not 4 per person, the iberico meat was mainly fat instead of actual meat, the cutlery was a joke, looked like from a school canteen, and we were served desserts with soup spoons, on the menu the cocktail was “sweet”, in reality was very sour, the service was as also low, we were served desserts while our table was full with dirty plates, we had to call waiters back to clean it, and also give the cutlery because they forgot to give us. The kitchen was so slow, it took us 3 hours to eat. So we were waiting for 30 min for each dish to arrive (and dishes were very small). Also, the deserts were served on a “street food” type of plates with just a metal tray and a paper that was constantly moving when you try to take a piece. It’s just not meant for deserts. I would understand this type of “plates” for a kebab type of cafe on a station, instead of a restaurant where you spend almost 100€ per person. Not to mention that we were not offered extra drinks during those 3 hours, not even hot drinks with deserts…I think the restaurant is struggling to position themselves well. If they position themselves as a high end place as their prices, they are far below that level, if it’s more of a okay type of street food type of restaurant, the prices...
