Will Not Order Again!

I waited over 2 hours for my order to arrive through Uber Eats. When I called the restaurant multiple times to check on the status, they repeatedly told me it should arrive any moment and even questioned my honesty, sounding annoyed. It seemed likely they delivered to the wrong address.

In an attempt to resolve the issue, I asked for a free curry as compensation, which was denied, only willing to give me a smaller product like a free drink. I then requested to cancel the order, but an hour later, it still hadn’t been canceled. Uber Eats informed me that the restaurant claimed they had delivered the food and that I couldn’t get my money back as they already made the food. Case closed… preventing me from any further contact with Uber East!

When I called the restaurant again, they said they couldn’t do anything, which I don’t agree with. After numerous messages to Uber Eats through their website, I finally received a refund. This experience was highly disappointing and unprofessional from both the restaurant...

In general the standard of indian restaurants in Amsterdam is not good. I found Indian Barbecue to be an exception atleast for a few months (early 2021). They weren't awesome but definitely better than most. And i ordered regularly from here. Recently i have noticed a decline in their quality and service. The food does not taste as good as it used to be. And they ignored my order notes regularly. The delivery is always late. And the packaging is not good. The raita/any gravy is always leaking from the container. They have also somehow removed my review from Thuisbezorgd stating that my order...

Ordered via Thuisbezorgd. Delivery came 40min after the estimated time. I wouldn't mind if I knew, but it's annoying if you don't know what to expect. I ordered two dishes and chose the spiciness level to be mild. One of those was indeed mild but the other one was very spicy. I have also ordered the vegetarian momo dumplings. There is an image of meat dumplings and there is 8 of them - it makes sense for the price. Turns out its only 4 of them (see the image) and it made me feel scammed. Other than that the food was good but the overall experience was not. I will not order...
