everything was delicious, there might be a line but definitely worth it. One of the best in town. Owned and operated by lovey people who also speaks excelent English. Place to sit outside overseeing the Maritime museum.

I recommend trying different fish and sharing as there are a lot of options. I prefer pistolet(white bread) but it ran out this time. Haring was balanced in terms of salt. Crabsalade was very silky and taste.

Top notch herring sandwich. Yes, it looks rough but the taste is nothing like its appearance. It’s buttery and smooth. Kibbeling was great as well - yes, microwaved so not as crispy as I wished but from what I gather, many street stalls are not allowed to be fully equipped with ovens and such. By far the best herring in town, always, there are no “bad days”. It’s fresh, perfectly salted and the texture is perfect, real dance of pleasure and joy in your mouth. Other options including salmon and kibbling are also great, also they have “pistolet” option for bread, and have great fish cookies. People running the stall are very authentic and friendly.
