Overall, the food at this restaurant was enjoyable, with the standout dish being the delicious tiramisu dessert. However, there were some issues with the service that detracted from the experience.

The owner informed us that splitting the bill was not possible due to commission taxes, which we understood. However, we were disappointed when the owner approached us offering what appeared to be complimentary shots of limoncello, only to be charged almost 20 euros for three shots. We felt disappointed and betrayed by the owner's seemingly profit-driven approach.

While the food was good, the negative experience with the service has left a bad taste in our mouths and we (as locals) will not be returning to this establishment in the future. We hope that the owners will take feedback like this into consideration and make changes to ensure a more positive experience for...

Server was nice for first half of service. Then I don't know what happened, we started getting a cold shoulder, completely getting ignored. We asked for the check several times and he continued to ignore us. When he finally came with a check, pushed us for cash only. It felt like they didn't want us there, yet there was no effort to get us to leave by giving us the check, truly made no sense. After reading reviews it seems they target tourists for this. Even the tables next to us noticed how horrible he was to us and even made comments about it. Food was mediocre as well, no flavor, pizza tasted like cardboard. Pricey for the quality and service. We were even served the wrong drinks and didn't say anything to try and be nice. Please avoid this place, other businesses nearby are better and...

Terrible service. We waited a half hour before our drink order was brought. Another 30 minutes wait before our salad was served, almost another hour for our entree. My lasagne was not like any lasagna I've ever had. No layers of pasta, very little meat, lacking in flavor and topped with a thick layer of mozzarella that I almost choked on. The server was obviously overwhelmed but not a word of apology or explanation. The place was a mess when we showed up for our reservation. She cleared the table and used the dirty placemats from the previous guests to wipe the table off. Yuck! This place is very small but they need more help. There isn't anything cute or cozy about the ambiance. I would never go there again and I would never recommend this to anyone. A waste of money....

It is a wonderful place of calmness and excellent food. The first thing that happened when I arrived was that I met the owner, a larger than life kind of fellow who genuinely cares for his customers. He made us feel like we were where we were supposed to be. We sat outside and chatted for a bit before we ordered our food. The food was like the owner, excellent and full of life. We ordered a lasagna al forno, a cantelloni con carne, and a pizza. The price was good, especially considering the quality of the food. We liked it so much we made a second visit. If you are in the area, make this a stop.

The more restaurants I try, the more I come to the conclusion that the key to a great pizza (or hamburger) is simplicity. Instead of dumping a dozen rainbow-coloured ingredients on an ostensibly-tasty-looking pizza, this restaurant carefully chooses its ingredients, so that each ingredient adds perfect flavour on its own but also complements the other ingredients. This results in a delicious pizza full of flavour. The dough is also crispy and perfect - not low quality filler - and the calzone looks beautiful. The tiramisu was good, and the staff was friendly. Possibly a hidden gem. :)
