Limon — Restaurant in Amsterdam

I have given Limon at Zuidas quite a few chances over the past year, mostly because the location is convenient and the food is okay. However, I have finally had enough.

There is a particular waiter who has been working there for quite a while, and unfortunately, he consistently brings the entire experience down. His attitude is persistently moody, unfriendly, and even arrogant. It's baffling how someone in the hospitality industry can be so consistently dismissive and cold to guests. If you’re that unhappy with your job, maybe it’s time to get the hell out of there instead of taking it out on the customers.

Dining out should be a pleasant experience, especially in a place that positions itself as a stylish spot in the heart of the Zuidas. Sadly, this kind of service completely ruins it. I’m not going back, and I would advise others to steer clear unless they enjoy being treated with...

Unfortunately I can't rate the food, as the unprofessional 'service' was too disappointing to even give it a try. I've been on touch with Limon about a group lunch (20pax) I wanted to organize and, although I initially received quite quickly a reaction including suggestions menu-wise, decent communication seemed to be impossible. I have written them several more emails to which I did not receive a response (although I already had a semi-confirmed reservation), plus I called them a few times to which they never picked up. We had a very pleasent friday date/dinner at Limon. We have started with delicious oesters and sashimi paired with spanish verdejo wine suggested and main dish (deer steak and rib-eye) to go with italian nero d'avola red wine was truly perfect! The chef came to our table to ask how we enjoy everything which added a personal touch to our experience. Dessert was both nicely presented as tasty- sweet lemon curd and chocolade bonbons mixed with sourish fruits made it very interesting. Service was quick, friendly and efficient.
