Heard lots of great things about Loop51, but was unfortunately disappointed by the service and the food. We sat outside at first, where none of the servers would notice us and were acting quite unbothered — eventually, we had to ask one of them to bring the menu and later, take our order. Ordered the sweet pancakes and French toast. We asked for the dark chocolate to be put on the side. The food took a long time to arrive and when it did, the dark chocolate was drizzled on top, not as we’d had asked. The server did not bring any cutlery, so we had to get up and go inside the restaurant to ask someone to bring some. Both dishes were too sweet for our taste. The French toast was also quite dry on its own. Pancakes were a bit better, but still quite overwhelming in terms of sweetness. A shame, because the place has nice ambience. However, lots of work to do in terms of service and...

After reading the reviews I could not wait to try the butterchicken waffle and even though I found it tasty I did not get the hype. The dish itself was also made less desirable by the service which was definetely not good given that the waiter kept passing by and avoiding contact.

By the time we were able to order our food and drinks, one of our questions was whether they served any fresh juice to which the reply was "only orange" so we ordered one orange juice and one latte. The food had arrived but no comment on the drinks, we reminded the waiter only for her to go inside an 5 mins later bring a cappuccino (!) and a orange juice (definetely NOT fresh).

I was not even upset about the cappucino/latte incident, but claiming you have orange fresh juice is definetely a lie and makes your prices outrageous has for the price of that juice you can buy the exact...
