I must say... hands down the best Pizzeria of this side of the Netherlands... I came in at 21 of a rainy Tuesday after a long day of work... Off course that I had to ask if the Pizzaiolo was Italian... Just to find that the amazing Andrea was Napoletano... I was at home, the staff so kindly took me in even the place was full, amazing ladies from the staff said that they had only five minutes before the kitchen closed... How kind... Amsterdam is known for its sub par service, and these where so kind even if I was in working clothes... I had an traditional Pizza Napoletana... mamma mia, they brought color to Amsterdam, living here for over 4 years, I was having a hard time finding a traditional Pizzeria... The Pizza, the well poured Moretti, the amazing little place... The desert.... Please you guys made my year... Spetacollo!!! Stop wasting time and book your self a table the Maestro is there Tuesdays and Fridays... Grazie di cuore fratama! Hands down the best place to chill and have a good time with friends and loved ones, if alone I was feeling so welcome, imagine surrounded by friends. I almost went back today... Coming back real soon... Again Andrea and Staff, I thank you for the great dinner last night!

Went there with a friend while we were walking by looking for a place for dinner on Friday. While it looked busy we decided to check if there is a table available, We waited outside for a while until someone noticed us and said he will come back to help us. Then We waited for another ~15 mins until a waitress came outside and helped other people who came after us(not sure what made us to be ignored while we were clearly the first in line), when we asked her she said that the place is fully booked inside but she will check if there is a space outside. After another 15 mins we saw the same waiter who saw us at first and he was surprised that we have not been helped yet, he then checked inside and offered us 2 tables inside to choose one from( while the waitress told us just a couple of minutes before that tables inside are fully booked!!) We ordered two pizzas one of them was good and the other one was totally burnt from the bottom (see photo) and was barely edible but we did not have time to order for a replacement. Overall we did not feel welcomed and the overall service ruined our experience. I have been living in Amsterdam for a while now and this was the first time to feel a vibe of discrimination.

Hmmm I was super impressed with the other location but here not so much. Although I really wanted to be. Was excited to have Neapolitan pizza but the dough wasn't as fluffy and soft but rather thick and even a bit dryish if I'm honest. The Margherita was mostly an orange blend of tomato and cheese. Both the bufala and basil were baked with the pizza instead of added after, so those didn't give the pizza the upgraded feel they could have. The tartufo pizza was super tasty. Excellent ingredients and the Parmesan and rucola were topped off royally and looked pretty as well. Very happy with that one. Then the tiramisu. The one from the other location was one of the best in Amsterdam. The ones here today had a nice coffee and liquor flavor, but the cake was just way too dry for me. Difficult to break with my spoon even. To be honest, I don't think I'll try again here. Although the staff was super friendly and that really made up for it in the overall experience.

Looks like this is not the first service issue they had. We ordered our pizza and also polpetta and bruschetta and specially and explicitly said we do not want to have starter and main etc, and wait instead we would like to have whatever is ready, and the lady serving us asked again because the meatballs are taking long, and we confirmed again that we do not want to wait, we can have first pizza and then polpetta. We waited 40 mins and then saw that they were bringing pizza to the table behind us, that sat down 10 mins ago.

In the meantime another server or the manager came and said, our pizzas were being done and will come in a few minutes. But after seeing they serve to the other table who came much later then us, I went in, and actually they were discussing our orders, and indeed they did not do our pizza but waited for polpetta. And when I complained about it, the reply of the server was that they can cancel the order. I was there with my 2 kids, rushing so I can take them back home early, and already waited 40 mins and the solution was - “we can cancel”.

Then they brought the pizzas a few mins later and offered us free drinks, and said the girl serving us was new and 16 years old, which is not my problem(!), and it was already too late for trying to make up...
