Pizzeria Mozzico — Restaurant in Amsterdam

Ordered with uber eats, the delivery was almost an hour late (1:45 since the moment of delivery), even though the delivery person was there in time ( i can see it in the app). I had to call the restaurant, and they told me that the delivery person was late by an hour and a half, which is not true as i can see the location of the delivery person in the app, the poor guy had to wait by the restaurant for an hour. They also confirmed that pizza wont be cold, as, according to them, they prepared it, when the guy arrived, which just doesnt make any sense, i know perfectly well how uber eats works. Pizza is ok. Nothing special. Even being hungry after waing for 1:45 for it. Had high expectations, but.....

thought i'll finally come write a review. Mozzico has been our go-to pizza place for a couple of years. the pizzas never disappoint - perfect crust, fresh quality toppings, tomato sauce to-die-for. always fast and friendly service, both pick-up and delivery. A couple of times there was less cheese on top of the parmiagana and arrabiata, but they fixed it when we asked for a bit more cheese next time. always tasty anyway. Super nice vegan option pizza Primavera, def worth trying for vegans!! And the pizza funghi is a nice vegan option, too, proper amount of mushrooms on top. we always order an extra pizza to have for the next day. thanks for your awesome work...

Definitely worth a try especially if you aren't a fan of pizza napoletana. This is a pizza romana with thin and crunchy dough, almost crust-free, well cooked and flavoured toppings. I found all the ingredients fresh and original. I give 3⭐ as average between full points for the for the pizza itself, but I wouldn't go back to the restaurant...as it's really nothing special hence save yourself a trip and stick with delivery, and you'll enjoy a very good...
