Q Global Kitchen — Restaurant in Amsterdam

Brought in from the street by a waitress after browsing through the window, sat down and ordered, then saw a cat who belonged to a male waiter walking through the tables eating scraps off the floor. Noticing people’s discomfort the male waiter brought the cat into a side room. Both waiters were petting the cat, neither made an effort to wash their hands after and continued serving food. Looking around after being made uncomfortable by this hugely unhygienic act, we also noticed food scraps and dirty tissues on the floor by our table. Cutlery was also stained, we had to swap ours with an empty table next to ours. We were very uncomfortable and wanted to leave but waited to see if the food would be up to standard. I ordered spaghetti bolognese and it was more like noodle soup. Tasted alright, but the sauce was like water at the bottom of the bowl and the meat looked grey. My friends got the ribs and said it was ok but very gristly and their plates had plastic tubes of an unknown sauce on top of their food. Handling an animal then throwing a plastic tube on a plate on top of food is very disconcerting. The whole place is severely unhygienic and unprofessional. I had high hopes for this restaurant after seeing the online reviews. We ordered two drinks, orange and pineapple and when they brought drinks over they were orange and mango. They didn't even mention the drinks were different. My daughter said oh well I like mango so dont say anything. Then 20 minutes later the woman comes over to say the drink was mango cause she ran out of pineapple and was this ok! Well too late because the drink had already been drunk. Secondly my daughters burger was given to someone else by mistake and they were cutting into it and was about to eat it then the staff realised it was wrong and rushed over there to take the burger away and then gave it to us! I said no sorry I'm not having that. They couldn't understand why I wouldn't accept the burger even though someone else had cut into it! Obviously not very big on hygiene. And not a single apology or offer to make another one. They were angry with us for not eating it!! I will never...

Wow what a stunning cafe/ba/restaurant we came here and stumbled on it looking for brunch and thank God we did, the food was stunning and tasted so fresh. The restaurant itself had a very contemporaryarty feel to it, with great seating inside and especially marly menro statue.

Awesome drinks, coffee and food and the level of customer service makes the experience even better. Kind, attentive, quick people with smiles on their faces. I loved the experience and I am only sad we found the place during our last day.
