I have been frequenting this sauna for a few years now. There are good upsides but also flaws that seriously need attention.
Upsides: _ the location is central, can easliy be reached with public transport. the dishes served have changed and used to be better, more varied& adventurous and have become overall more expensive but it's better than no kitchen as in some saunas and it's all still very edible. the entrance fee €24,50 is not cheap but affordable for most men who are into men. Looking at the location, the service and the facilities it's reasonable. let's face it: everybody- and yes, that includes me- goes there to meet men and have sex. It's often very busy and there is lots of action with a very wide range of types in every sense thinkable.
The downsides (that need attention!!):
it's not a large sauna which causes it to be a bit overcrowded at times they have put a machine with cabinets with cabled in to you can connect your phone to charge it. The location of this machine as well as the machine itself are very inconvenient as the cables are short and the interior of the cabinet so dark that you can't properly see. the sauna on the whole is a bit too dark. the interior of the lockers are black which causes poor vision inside increasing the risk of forgetting items. the staff does not hand our lockers randomly. They hand them out chronologically. This causes it to become very busy in one aile of the locker-section and quiet in the next. It's like this every time. It sometimes makes me question their intelligence, no offense. It really does. the doors of the toilet-section are in such a narrow space it's a matter of time that someone will be badly hit by an opening door. this also counts for the door to the dry sauna-section, located in an often busy corner. what really bothers me is that the lights in the darkroom are switched on (for cleaning) unannounced. It comes off as rude and inconsiderate of the owners. The staff is for from always consequent in the enforcements of house rules. If s staff member fancies an offender, he will be almost rewarded for breaking the rules. I have seen this happening a few times in the course of the years. the staff has become less and less racially diverse. Diversity is seen in terms of trans or femme guys but the last few years the staff looks like one in a city in a remote part of Transsylvania. Not like Amsterdam. Everybody working there is white (there are some Arab/Middle Eastern members but that also is white). I don't see Amsterdam represented in this sauna which is a big disappoitment. I wonder who came up with the idea of the square coffee tables in front of the bench. Numerous times I have scratched my leg against the edge because there is little space to walk. Round ones would make all the difference. It's not...

As a regular visitor I want to compliment you guys how clean the sauna and other facilities are. Here I also take in account that when it is crowded on weekends and condoms lying on the ground that its pretty hard to clean.
Of course I hear comments from people who think that you shouldn’t walk with a light torch in the darkroom due its bothering the ambience. I think people should accept it and otherwise shouldn’t be complaining thats its dirty.
The staff is very helpful and friendly to deal with. I see they work good together even I see time by time new guys at the bar. This improves the ambience of the sauna I think.
In particular, I still would like to mention a dark boy who works as a cleaner I think. Unfortunately, I didn’t see him for some time now. This guy (I don’t know his name) is good looking and has an open and cheerful positive attitude towards customers and makes a talk with you if its not to busy. I don’t see any arrogance with him, even if he wants to clean something or just want to pass though. Unfortunately sometimes his coworkers are a bit different in acting. This may be because some of them don’t speak Dutch. Not that everyone should speak Dutch but a slightly friendlier tone sometimes could make a lot of difference.
I have to say that im irritating myself to the guys who supposedly are relaxing in the lounge and cabins and then repeatedly fall sleep. You can be more firm with you policy in this case even more when its busy.
Further one little thing. During the night its sometimes pretty dark in the lounge. For me personally it hasn’t to be that dark in the lounge.
It was great to hear that your opening a new sauna in Rotterdam. Im living between Rotterdam and Amsterdam so I think I will visit both you’re sauna’s a few...

I’m really very sorry to write about my very bad experience in this awful sauna!
I had some amazing vacation days in Amsterdam, but the worst day was the sauna day
1- super DIRTY!! dirts ( condoms, sperms, tissues and more) are everywhere literally everywhere! on the floor, by the cabins, lockers, in the hallway and bathrooms!! I’ve been to too many saunas in Europe specially in Germany, and I never saw a filthy dirty sauna like this! I was really disgusted all the time!
2- COLD showers only and NO privacy at all…when you take the shower, you will be observed throughout the glass wall from the people in the sauna room!
3-NO slippers available! Even if the excuse that there were too many customers, the management should be prepared! They are only slippers, not so complicated or expensive thing to provide with! By the way, when there are slippers on other days, you have to buy them !! with about four euros!!!
4- some dark rooms are super Dark!! You can’t see anything!!! It would be better just to see the faces!!
5- when you lay down by the bar, the AC is above you and it’s windy and cold!
6-the design of the Jacuzzi is very stupid ……I and minimum for five people I saw we could’ve easily fell down because of the not visible steps and bad design! Also You should press a button always to let the bubbles go on, thats fine but this button is almost off and doesn’t work. You should try many times until it works!
The only good thing was the security man at the door !
I’m really very sad and upset that I wasted my money and time in this vacation on this very dirty and bad sauna!
If you really wanna go to a good sauna, go to Berlin, Essen,...
