First of all, we had an enjoyable evening and the staff was lovely. However, the dinner cruise with 4 courses did not meet expectations. First of all the website states âOn the large boat, you will also get to take your pick out of an extensive selection of fine winesâ, but aboard you could only decide between one red and one white wine, which was a major disappointment. We had one fish and one meat menu, for which both starters were lovely, and did meet expectations. The second course was a tomato soup, which was ok but nothing special. For this price I was expecting to find more exciting flavours in there, maybe something like a fresh pesto. But it was quite plain. The meat main course was tasty. Nothing really fancy but it was good. However, the fish main course was a disaster. It had two types of fish, both of which were overcooked and therefore very dry. The pasta was overcooked too, which means it had no bite and was very mushy. The flavours were only ok. The website talks about culinary delights, the Dutch version of the website repeatedly talks about how tasteful the evening will be and how your taste buds will be triggered. Therefore I was expecting more than just âokâ food. My taste buds did not experience anything exciting. The dessert was not very good either. I am not a difficult person with dessert, but this must have been the worst cheesecake I have ever had. My partner called it the worst dessert he ever had. The flavor and texture were not nice at all. The menu aboard said we would get coffee or tea afterwards, but upon requesting tea I am being told they only serve coffee. The sweets we got with the coffee were just 'okâ again. All together we had an enjoyable evening. But the dinner does most definitely not meet expectations based on the website and the price. I would not recommend this dinner cruise to anyone, as it is vastly overpriced for the quality of food you are served (we paid 89 euros per person for this!). I would recommend you to take a normal cruise, and then have dinner at a...
Read moreTHIS IS NOTHING BUT A TOURIST TRAP. AVOID! Sub par "tour".. in fact, one would be very hard pressed to call this a true tour. Everything is pre-recorded, so you have to wear headphones... quite anti-social when you're with family. As well, the timing of the recording was so poor that even when it pointed out sights, the majority of the time the boat had either already passed or hadn't come to yet... In other words, useless. Also, better hope there isn't a group in line behind you while waiting for your boat... as they will be allowed to skip the line and get free reign over the seats/tables on the boat before you. The group that went in front of me thought it would be funny to take up ALL of the window seats before anyone else could get on and to the tour operators this was perfectly acceptable. Finally, WOULD IT KILL YOU TO USE SOME WINDEX AND CLEAN THE WINDOWS? Disgusting!
Will never give this company another cent of my...
Read moreThis is the most outrageous and dissapointing experience we ever had. We purchased our tickets 2hours ahead in hope to show Amsterdam to our family member. There was a slight rainnbefore which we counted on but when we came one hour before to simply ask about some info, lady just sent us away to come 15minutes before our trip. We went to the café to hide from rain buy it was already packed with tourists. When we came back, the platform was overpacked with tourists waiting to get on the boat and the organisation was absolutely horrible! No one even bothered to speak in English and only later we found out that there was a group going first. Horrible staff behaviour, we stood in the pooring rain for 10minutes after which we decided to go home because we were already soaking wet. The weather would not be the problem if the organisation was smooth. Hope you will improve your services for other people to have better...
