Steakhouse Marina grill & pasta — Restaurant in Amsterdam

Found this place from Google reviews. Rather disappointed from the moment we arrived. Whilst looking at the menu outside, the waitress ushered us inside without even giving us a chance to accept the invitation. Inside, the music from the TV was very loud, to the point you couldn't easily have a conversation with others in your party without shouting. I had the grilled chicken, and when it arrived, I had to hunt around to find the smallest piece of chicken going swamped by salad. If I had asked for a plateful of salad with a small piece of chicken then I would have expected it. But for €20 for a small piece that was gone in just a few mouthfuls, I would have expected two or three pieces for that cost. Drinks were reasonably priced, although the beer wasn't particularly fizzy.

Food was good enough considering I'd had a smoke and a few beers but the service staff are either clueless or scammers, more likely the latter.

Tried to overcharge me for two amstels and span a weird array of tales to justify why I was being charged an extra euro. None of it made sense, including claiming that my beer was medium sized, my beer was actually a Heineken large on the till receipts herefore I would have to pay that price and best of all that as a server she was unable to print an amended bill .even tried to claim the police would get involved. For the sake of one euro I just paid it.

They still had their Christmas decorations up as well .So overall the food was not bad but the service was so ridiculously...

Terrible place, I regret having dinner there. I ordered grilled tuna and they said it goes with salad and fries. Tuna was like a piece of rubber, “salad” is just couple pieces of dry lettuce, cucumber and tomato, didn’t even bother to cut them properly and they were precut probably days before. I even found a hair inside the salad 🤦‍♀️ The dish was decorated with wilted arugula. They also give you ketchup and mayonnaise in plastic bags like I’m not in the restaurant but just buying a hotdog at some gas station. Prices are crazy for that kind of service. Menu book was dirty. And don’t even try to check toilets.. I feel sorry for people...
