I can't stop raving about this fantastical restaurant!

It's certainly a "hole in the wall" type of place, where one can easily miss it among the vast attractions along the Red Light District, but it's such a worthy spot to visit. So much so, I'm already trying to earn enough money to return to Amsterdam, just to find a way to eat there again.

Bellezza offers a strange experience that you'd be glad you entered. Almost Alice in Wonderland-esque with its colorful decor and one table seating. You'll be seated among a small group of guests and share the same 7-course meal while you view videos & listen to sounds that associate with your dish. I cannot describe it any deeper since every few months, the menu changes, so what you may eat will most likely differ from what I ate.

I visited in early October, where they were trying out their new menu titled, "Around the World" featuring small dishes from the Netherlands, Africa, Peru, & more. You are given the option to have a wine pairing with your dishes, or "mocktails" if you choose not to consume alcohol- they are very accommodating to everyone's preferences. They will also ask if you have any allergies or restrictions before the food is served.

I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. Every meal was mouth-watering, even the roll of bread & butter. I was silent for a long time, cherishing every bite.

The only people I wouldn't suggest this restaurant too are those who know they are picky with their food, and do not feel comfortable trying new & foreign delicacies. This is best suited for foodies with an appreciation for the fine arts. I can't find anything in the U.S that compares to Bellezza, and because of that, I am...

Visiting Belleza was quite an experience, to say the least. I was drawn in by their impressive marketing, which piqued my curiosity enough to make a reservation.

However, upon arrival, the initial experience was less than ideal. The entrance remains locked until the exact time of your reservation, leaving guests waiting outside on the street. Once inside, the dining area is quite small, with seating that felt notably cramped.

About half an hour into our dining experience, we were treated to a show displayed on what at first seemed to be mirrors around the room. While the concept was unique, the content of the show was disappointing and certainly not art-worthy.

For the final part of the dinner, we were guided upstairs for dessert. The main course had been decent, and I found it worth trying. Unfortunately, the dessert was a letdown, tasting like a cheap sorbet.

On a positive note, the service was exceptional. The servers were very friendly and made us feel welcome, which was a pleasant contrast to the other aspects of the experience.

In conclusion, Belleza offer a unique dining experience that might be worth trying once, especially if you don’t have other plans. However, I wouldn't recommend it for a...

To be very honest I only came to Bellezza because I got a gift voucher from my company. I don’t think I would ever decide to come to this type of restaurant/experience on my own. So take my review with a grain of salt because I might not be the target audience for this kind of restaurant.

With that said some of the food we had yesterday was very tasty, besides the dessert which wasn’t good, very basic and not at the level of the previous courses (by far). We had the wine pairing and all the wines were quite good as well. Besides that I find the entire experience a bit off putting and uncomfortable. Sitting so close to strangers, and depending where you seat, facing them or almost touching them. The loud music that makes it hard to speak with your companion. And the “go to heaven” part ruins the night in my opinion. The room where we had the dessert is not very nice and again the sitting is quite cringe and uncomfortable. Without the “go to heaven”/dessert part I would probably give this review 4 stars. Last but not least and this is not due to the quality of the food but its very small quantity, charging 87,5€ for the set menu is overpriced when compared to other high quality restaurants...

Tucked away in Amsterdam’s Redlight district, Bellezza isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a theatrical journey through taste, sight, and sound. It is probably one of the coolest restaurants we have ever eaten at. 🍽️ The Experience - Bellezza’s concept revolves around a multisensory tasting menu. The evening unfolds like a curated performance, with dramatic lighting, curated music, and interactive service. 🌟 Highlights - Creative Cuisine: Dishes are inventive and beautifully plated, often surprising with unexpected flavor pairings. We opted for the wine pairing and were very pleased. - Atmosphere: Think cozy yet avant-garde. Communal seating and ambient visuals create a shared experience that feels intimate and theatrical. - Service: Attentive and enthusiastic, the staff guide you through each act of the meal with warmth and precision. 💶 Value Bellezza sits below typical Michelin-star pricing but delivers a comparable, if not more memorable, experience. Bellezza is ideal for travelers craving something beyond the plate—a fusion of flavor, performance, and sensory play.

We came to know about this restaurant from social media and thought about trying it on a Sunday evening. Their food and service are good, but this place doesn't really give you the atmospheric feel that they advertise on social media. It's a small room with screens. I liked how the theme matched everything - the food, the art being shown on the screen. It was great. But it didn't give us a WOW experience or anything to recommend others to try this place out. We took the wine pairing option. In the end, they ask you to go upstairs as "desserts are served in heaven." But it was not at all worth the hype. The least I was expecting it to have some fog atleast 😂 after all that build up to especially go to a separate room. So we went there with a lot of expectations for the atmosphere but came out feeling like there was something missing overall. We spent around 380 euros for two. We also ordered a cocktail and a glass of champagne along with their Mother Earth themed set dinner with wine pairings.

Crazy expensive for what you get. As fine dining goes, some nice dishes but the sharing concept for some courses does not work at all with such small portions. All guests for the whole restaurant sit together at one table which make it very loud and difficult to hear your own group. The staff are rushed and stressed as each course comes out at once for everyone. The wine pairing is truly ridiculous. We took the "full glass option" which amounted to hardly a quarter of a normal serving. Unprofessional servers reached over people, pointed at food and did not clear extra plates. A fantastic concept that really requires better execution. Overall disappointing for 150 euros. Note: the wine glasses in the image were two pourings combined in one glass.
