Durty Nellys — Hotel in Amsterdam

This place is not dirty! It is clean and tidy with what look like newly installed ‘rain’ style showers, for which I did not have to queue even once. |Despite being in the heart of the red light district this is a drug free zone, with very friendly and helpful multilingual staff on hand 24/7. Yes there is a pub next door but the earplugs are free and with aircon on the rooms you can shut the window to keep the noise out. |English Premier League and Serie A footy on big screens in the communal area, and multiple discounts on drinks and breakfast from neighbouring places.|The Japanese style capsules are great, very private and quite well insulated for sound. You have more space than you would on a bunk or in a tent. Dimming lights and usb chargers plus a standard plug meant all devices can be charged. Keycard security on the dorm door meant I had no concerns about theft. The in-room luggage lockers were large enough to contain a suitcase with ease. Padlocks available at reception.|I would definitely recommend this place for budget...

I stayed here overnight in April 19 and it was a great place really clean ... I was in a 10 bed dorm the other people in the room were all lovely and were so quiet it was the first time I have done the hostel side of dam and I would definitely stay here again the staff were great and the discount on food and drinks were a welcome bonus as I was only in dam for 2days 1night ... Terrible service, rude barman, had to pay 50c every time you went to the toilet and worst of all saw a mouse running around the floor on a relatively busy Saturday night... safe to say we left immediately and will...
