If I could give 0 stars that would be definitely my rate regarding the food and service. I had a reservation for 3 people and since the beginning just to order a drink I felt like I was begging for a favor, after a long wait the drinks and food came. The food was at the first sight in order but then I went to pick up the olive oil and I saw a hair inside, but considering that was so hard to get the attention of the waitress I decided to ignore and keep eating until I stared a caterpilla and worm in the middle of my food and then honestly I completely lost my appetite. I called a lady that I believe it was the owner or manager and exposed the situation of the olive oil and food and she just justified saying that it was not their fault, the hair she said was from another client so it was not her fault and then she put her hands in the olive oil and took out the hair and gave me back, without cleaning it properly and specially during Covid times I just got shocked and she justified the caterpilla saying that it’s because “they use fresh vegetables so it’s was not their fault” I don’t know which kind of mentality or business sense is this not even apologizing for the inconvenience and this lady literally destroyed the mood of our dinner with her rudeness. In the end I had to pay for the food and got a stomach intoxication the whole weekend, I just couldn’t stop vomiting. I’ve been in many restaurants but this is by far the worst service and quality, I wish it was a joke but it was my...
Read moreI actually always liked to go there, the food was always good. This time it was very unpleasant. After we arrived we waited 15 min to take a order from the drink menu. The waiters just passed our table, after I asked if we could order, they let us wait again. After we ordered the drinks I asked for the menu, and the woman responded in a very unfriendly way that I was rushing her (like excuse me, but after 25 min I would like to order my food, as we have to wait another 25 min for the food anyway). The prices are high, so I can expect some good service. She gave me the card, and came back after one minute and complained why I didn't decide yet. She was rushing me, because she had the feeling that I was rushing her (childish behaviour in my point of view). We asked for bread, that we never got, but on our bill they didn't forget to add it.... Furthermore the waitress was talking with other visitors (she was sitting with them) and ignoring all other customers. However, the other waiters were really nice, but for every order we had someone else what was very impersonal aswell. I am actually not the type, that writes reviews, but this dinner was so terrible that I will never ever come back. Never a person gave me such a bad feeling for...
Read moreThings were going fairly well until we tried to order dessert. Food was good and service rather nice. I guess the queue of people building up at the door started to make the management nervous and their rather anti-commercial reaction was to snatch the menus from our hands before we could even order dessert or some festive grappa. That alone was bad enough, but what the hell, we just helped our kids to finish their ice creams (that had been miraculously brought to our table before the craze began) and proceeded to clear the premises. My 6yo was just putting the final touch to her little drawing when a rather angry-looking woman who had already started to vigorously wipe the table clean almost kicked us out barking "I need the table NOW" and almost threw the cleaning rag to our face. Bear in mind that we had just footed a 300€ bill in this charming place. I lived 10 years in Paris and that performance would not have been out of place in one of those legendary unwelcoming Parisian brasseries where the waiters look at you with undisguised contempt when you order a bottle of tap water. I'm still waiting for the doggy bag with the leftover of my kids' pizza BTW. Long story short:...
