ROSSI Sandwiches — Restaurant in Amsterdam

This place is not really hygienic. Spent 15 min waiting for my sandiest and observed the employees. They do not wash hands, do everything with bare hands not gloves or hand washing between. They do simultaneously assemblyof the sandwiches, picking drink cans from fridge, using the cassa, picking up the phone all without washing hands in between . The counter where they make the sandwiches is full of crumbs, ingredients falling out of all the sandwiches. They use a type of rucola directly from the plastic box that’s should be washed before. I ate a porchetta sandwich at their Maasstraat location. Look I don’t mean to offend or anything, but this is not an Italian sandwich. Very small pita like bread with some veldsla and mayo and a little bit of porchetta for €12. To the owners go to Florence, New York or even like London buy an Italian sandwich at a deli and see what an Italian sandwich is. It should be a focaccia like bread exploding with oozing mozzarella, arugula, sundried tomatoes and definitely no mayo, drenched in good...

Horrible service, we came in and the blonde lady behind the counter definitely didn’t feel like working there. Compared to any other place in the neighborhood, it’s a waste of money too. €15 euros for a melanzane that was half raw and almost thrown at us to take away. We should’ve gotten cheese and bread next door, half the money, kind staff, and ten times the flavor that we wasted our money on here.

As locals in the city, definitely wouldn’t recommend...
