Sushi Era — Restaurant in Amsterdam

You will not find a better sushi place in Amsterdam! I’ve traveled the world eating sushi, and Sushi Era remains on the top.

They take pride in quality, making sure it’s fresh and prepared properly. The rice is perfect, not too sweet and just the right temperature. Avocado is always freshly served.

Sushi Era are super friendly, they speak multiple languages, and make the most delicious sushi. The restaurant is perfect for to-go orders but if you want to sit inside there’s very limited availability.

I ordered the tuna lovers set and the inside out spicy tuna dish through Uber Eats. Was pleasantly surprised by the spicy tuna dish, but that is what I expected given the rave reviews.

However, I found the tuna lovers set to be too bland. The rice did not taste vinegar-y at all, the tuna didn’t taste like tuna – it didn’t taste like anything, even the seaweed… no taste. I thought it was just me but I asked my housemate to try it and she also agreed. I’m thinking maybe the forgot to add the vinegar when making that particular batch of rice?

Anyway, I’d still definitely go back and get those inside out dishes but I’ll pass on the nigiri or the...
