I recently had the pleasure of dining at Toro Dorado, and I must say it was an extraordinary culinary experience that left a lasting impression on my taste buds. This restaurant prides themselves on their steaks and the quasi Japanese twist on their food.

They claim they have fillet from New Zealand, Scotland Waygu and Canadian Bison. Steak tartare is a mixture of the different meats. There’s also the obligatory Edamame, tuna tartare, and other Japan-ish foods.

You can try out the different meats at 100gms with a minimum of 2 selections. The steaks are over priced and expensive!

Their wine selection is very expensive. I was shocked to see 65euros for a bottle of Chianti! The selection is not great either. Shockingly expensive!

Service was extremely slow and uneven. 45 minutes and a bottle of over priced wine, and still no food. Other tables were served and still nothing for my table. Called the waiter several times and still nothing.

When the steaks were served, they were overcooked to death. Not medium rare. Even though they offered different sauces for the steaks, I really wanted to taste the difference between them. However being cooked to well done deprived me of the opportunity.

One of the worst memories in a "restaurant". The staff was very roude and not professional at all. Not only they never bring our order, even though we were the only new customers, so they had only our order to prepare, I started staring at them because they didn't give any attention to our table that was empty even we were there about one hour, and only then they asked if we want something, 45 minutes after we ordered. I said that i want my order, they said you have not ordered or probably we forgot you. And then, after the waitress left, she started laughing with her colleagues looking at us. I called her and I said this is not funny and she continued laughing. My behavior after that was a bit roude because they were laughing and they never asked sorry. I can understand that they might forget an order (even this is a very expensive "restaurant") but, at least they could ask for a sorry!!! if they had done that i wouldn't say anything. I hope this only happened to me.

Because of the BEHAVIOR AND NOT the mistake, that can happen to any working person, I would never go there again or at any of the brand's restaurants. Thank you for that...
