Mar & Tierra 91 — Restaurant in Curaçao

Decent restaurant in the centre of Willemstad. Walked into it after passing by some other places that were otherwise busy.

Due to the fact that we did not have a reservation, we were seated at a high top near the door. Service was very prompt at first but slowed throughout the course of the meal. Ordered an appetizer and it almost came out at the same time as the main courses. My food was quite good, as was everyone else's.

My only issue with this restaurant are the prices for what you get. A dinner/drinks for 4 people was almost $200 US, and the portions weren't large to fill me up. Thankfully, I wasn't too hungry if I hadn't eaten in awhile I would have been searching for more.

Not sure what other reviewers were talking about with the NAF price being the same as USD. My bill was 336NAF which under their conversion was 192USD, which isn't a great rate but whatever.

All in all, good food, decent service, but you won't be getting a lot of food for a little money if...

We stopped by here for a quick lunch on a very warm afternoon, so we were the only guests. First, we would like to sit at the street, but as this is close to the parking spot and there are many people just hanging around or eating their ice cream, we do not want to be disturbed by the pastor by while eating.

The food was amazing, the service was also nice, the place is beautiful, we just wish we have more time to enjoy dinner here.

We had fried calamari and shrimp skewers with salad and amazing dip.

The only thing I would mention is that if we are the only guests in the restaurant, it is not perfectly suitable for the lady from the restaurant sitting at the next table, close to us and watching funny videos for approximately 20 minutes while we are eating - that was a little bit disturbing, otherwise nothing to be worried about because you guys are obviously doing a great...

Amazing dining experience at Mar & Tierra 91 in Curaçao! I started with the fresh and flavorful Mexican ceviche – perfectly balanced and refreshing. The highlight was the ribeye: prime US beef, grilled to perfection. Juicy, tender, and full of flavor with a beautiful sear and a perfectly pink center. Served with crispy potatoes, chimichurri, and grilled vegetables on a rustic wooden board.

The service was just as impressive – warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Great staff all around.
