Da Verdi — Restaurant in Eindhoven

Been here last week. Family, relatives or friends of the owners were gossiping about other previous customers and were annoyingly loud.

The quality of the food was poor too. Bread as pre-dish which was slightly burned. The minestrone soup was horrible, basically sliced up vegetables in some boiled water. Not even close to what you would expect.

From the two pizza's we ordered, both were burned on the bottom and on one of the pizza's the ham was just 'slapped on top'. The other pizza with champignons were clearly not fresh anymore, resulting in some kind of stomach flue or food poisoning after we left.

Afterwards the dinner when we wanted the bill, the waitress which served us didn't understood what we said and acted quite rude. Price/quality ratios were not...

Waited for over an hour for the salmon steak I ordered. Sat in the outside area with heaters, which is really annoying because the guests are rude and smoke right by the entrance. Had to ask them to move. The salmon finally arrived and was lightly deep fried, (who fries salmon?), was very disappointing. It came with fries and a salad that wasn’t tasty at all. The tomatoes tasted off. The fish was really gross. Didn’t feel good after eating it. I only had a few bites and left it. I think it is maybe frozen and de frosted and then cooked in lots of oil in a shallow fryer. Really bad. The staff were lovely. Nothing against them, I just didn’t...

Loved this place. Best Italian I've had in a while. Had the salmon ravioli half portion as a starter - it was delicious, I wish I had more! I then had the ossobucco for main, which was super tasty as well and extremely generous portion too. Very friendly waitress as well. If I go back to Eindhoven, I would definitely return as there were so many things I wanted to try from the menu.

The only issue I had was where I was originally seated. I was at the table by the door and the automated door drove me nuts and I felt the draft constantly. However, they let me move...
