We had gone to their Eindhoven branch some months ago and we were disappointed with our experience there. When we arrived in the afternoon (between 12 and 1 pm), we were promptly seated but it took another 10 minutes before the wait staff member approached us for our orders. There was a walk in customer who received his attention before we did even though we had arrived before he did so that already was a sore point for us. It took a while for him to complete that walk in customer's order and in the meantime, we kept looking around for other wait staff members but there weren't any. After we had given our orders, it took another 15 minutes for our orders to arrive, by which time he then informed us that my order wasn't available. My daughter and my husband had their food served but I had to make a whole new order for myself.

We can completely understand if a food item we want isn't available but once that became clear, that same information should be immediately shared with us and not upon delivery of the other food items we had ordered. Because of that, I had to wait and couldn't eat together with my family. The waiter should have also known to attend to the customers based on their arrival hierarchy i.e. attend to whom arrives first. If he had done so, we wouldn't have had to wait so long to be served and even longer to receive our orders. The restaurant wasn't busy and only had a few other customers around so he couldn't have been too busy as to make us wait so long just to take our orders first. It would seem that he wasn't experienced enough and while we can certainly understand that, it didn't seem that he tried very hard either.

This was especially frustrating as we had come a long way and travelled for more than an hour to patronise this restaurant. We had also chosen lunch time as we had thought that would be less busy and we could avoid waiting too long for our food to arrive. I had found it online and had really wanted to try the dosa. While the food is good, it wasn't worth driving all the way to receive the horribly bad service we did.

I had communicated our experience with the restaurant directly through an email and while I received a reply, it was promised that they would look up the matter and follow it up with us. We haven't heard from...

A friend of mine, my wife and I went to this restaurant on 13th August, 2021 at 7:30PM.

We ordered drinks, starters and main courses for ourselves within few minutes after we were ushered to our table.

The drinks were brought to our table, after 30 minutes. We didn’t order any fancy drinks, just Pilsner beers (tap beer as per the menu).

About 45 minutes after ordering, we had the starters. Now, the starters we ordered were dahi poori and sav poori. Sav poori tasted just awful. The poori used was hard and was made of dalda. Didn’t like a bit. Dahi poori tasted quite good.

Then in another half an hour, we got the main dish which my wife ordered, namely Mini Tiffin Thali. It contained idli, vada, masala dosa,upma and sheera. The thali also had three chutneys: a red, green and sambar. Let’s start with sambar: consistency of water. Didn’t find any daal, or vegetables in it. The coconut chutney was okish. Red and green chutneys were absolutely inedible. Now to idli , tasted cold and stale. Vada wasn’t good either, same problem.. cold and stale.dosa and upma were average. I wasn’t even comparing the food with saravana bhavan or any other restaurant from India.

My friend and I ordered gobi masala and kaju masala and butter tandoori roti. To our annoyance, we got those items on our table at 9:25. I kid you not! It took two hours for the restaurant. To add to misery, the tandoori rotis were again hard and and holes all over. It totally looked like was made few days ago. The kaju curry was absolutely tasteless. No Kajus we’re to be found anywhere in the dish either. The gobi dish was bearable, mind you.. not even average just bearable. The quantities were so little that we could only finish one tandoori roti each with the dishes, when we asked the staff there what could we get quickly to finish the one tandoori roti we had left..only to be told by the staff that that it was already past 9:30 and the kitchen was closed.. To sum up, the experience was horrible. Food was not worthy yet we had to pay about 80 euros. Extremely...

Not so welcoming staff. South Indian dishes are ok.

My husband and I made an incorrect choice of option here because the option that truly reflects our situation was not available. Upon arriving at the restaurant, they were aware of my reservation and seated us promptly. However, we encountered several issues during our visit. Many items on the menu were unavailable, which led us to opt for soup. Unfortunately, even after waiting for over 30-40 minutes, our soup had not been served. What made matters worse was that several other tables, some of which were occupied later than ours, and even one table without a reservation (I can confirm this as we arrived simultaneously with that guest, who informed the staff about the lack of a reservation), received their orders before us. I observed that many guests at other tables who arrived after us managed to complete their meals while we were still waiting for our soup. Whenever we asked the staff for our order they told us it is coming in 5 minutes .Approximately 40 minutes into our wait, we inquired if our soup order preparation started in the kitchen or not to that we were informed that it had not even been started in the kitchen.
