I recently had the pleasure of dining at Sicilia in Eindhoven, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience! The ambiance of the restaurant is warm and inviting, perfectly capturing the essence of Italian dining.
The menu is a delightful journey through traditional Sicilian cuisine, with each dish beautifully crafted and bursting with flavor. I started with the Carpaccio, which was a perfect , and the flavors were simply divine. For the main course, I opted for the combined variety of dishes , and it was hands down one of the best dishes I’ve ever had — rich, creamy, and absolutely delicious!
The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed while also sharing their recommendations with enthusiasm. Their passion for food and service truly shone through.
To top it all off, the dessert selection was heavenly. I tried the lemon ice cream , and it was the perfect choice to end an amazing meal.
Overall, Sicilia Eindhoven offers an authentic taste of Italy with top-notch service and a cozy atmosphere. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic...
Read moreAnother day another discovery, found this place via google map and lots of positive reviews, so we decided to give it a try.
This Italian restaurant is really crowded, we order Pasticcio, Risotto con scampi, Pizza 4 Stagioni, Pollo Gorgonzola, Limoncello spritz and Cappuccino.
The food is acceptable but not really that extra ordinary, Pollo Gorgonzola is very salted, the chicken potion is small and over taste by the Gorgonzola cheese, I can't taste the freshness of the Risotto after taken this dish.
Another surprise is when I want to pay the bil, I ask whether I can pay by credit card or debit card, but the guy told me he prefer cash, I'm like what? 🤔 Luckily I still have enough cash and there is no return on balance, then I know why he prefer cash. As respect to customer, I prefer they return the balance and let me decide whether I should tip them to keep the change and not keep the balance...

It has a nice atmosphere and there are English menus. Decoration is a bit basic, but I came for the food anyway.
If you want to try something other more authentic, because pizza you can get anywhere, pay them a visit.
The staff was great. One of us is allergic to cheese, which we forgot to mention, and we just realised when the order came. They had no problems making the pizza again, but without cheese. Thanks a lot!
I didn't find their coffee roast that great (espresso), for an Italian restaurant, but that's a smaller detail to me.
The prices are slightly below the city average.
If you come with a big group better give them a call beforehand, as it's popular and the space between tables is not that big.
I...
