Grill&Bar Dommel 18 — Restaurant in Eindhoven

Excellent food, the chef really knows what he/she is doing, authentic American experience in taste. The establishment is warm and cozy and has very nice atmosphere, quiet and relaxing with music in the perfect volume. People gathering were not loud either and the place was full. Perfect for a couple to go out. Most of the waitresses knew what they were doing. We were satisfied with the service until one of them ruined the experience in the end with her behavior. When we asked for separate bills she did a mistake on the total, charging us more than what we were supposed to pay. We pointed out her mistake she got haywire and blamed us that we were trying to pay less than we should, in a totally rude way. She insisted of giving us back more money than we actually needed for change like she was doing charity and very explicitly making a scene. This is not the way to treat customers or getting a tip by charging more. In every misunderstanding you should treat customers politely. Seems " customer is always right" does not apply to Netherlands food industry. Imagine if we were being rude also what would happen. Sadly I would never...

Very overpriced and chaotic service. Disappointed in our dinner here. Food is ok-ish but way overpriced. Drinks also way overpriced, with some local beers offered at 9 euro which are typically 6 euro elsewhere (100watt beers). Burger is 18 euro, so I expected something decent. I ordered a pulled pork burger, and I received a beef burger (processed/frozen patty) with a literal sprinkle of pulled pork on it. My friend ordered the stoofvlees, which was tasty but very small for 24 euro. Fries standard cheap frozen fries. We had made a reservation for a table outside on the terras through the Zenchef app, we received proper confirmation for it by email. When we arrived at the reserved time, there were 2 tables outside reserved but not one for us. In spite I could show them my reservation, the waiters kept saying something was odd. We were offered to sit inside and later on to move outside when one table became free. Of course it was not the case. We asked to be offered something to drink for free for the discomfort but they also didn’t. It shows poor service to us. I am personally not going back only for this reason.
