Bagels & Beans — Restaurant in Groningen

A café that you have to visit if you are in Groningen. The design inside is beautiful and welcoming. There are so many details in design that makes you want to contemplate the walls, doors, tables and menu. It’s a perfect place for a quick snack or a coffee break, and if you decide to eat there you must try the bagels. They have a wide variety of them and on different bread. The place is a bit tight but there are enough places for a group or a single person. It’s kinda on the pricey side if you look at the size, but the taste makes up for that.

Very nice place if you have a bagel craving. Almost everything on the menu is vegetarian or vegan, so you have a lot of choice whatever your diet. They are also serving salads and yogurts. Everything my friends and I had was super tasty and the menu is available in 3 languages : dutch, english and german. It looks like a lot of people come only for drinks (coffee, matcha, tea, smoothie, juices). Excellent menu, there really is something for everyone there and it took me ages to decide from the four different bagels I desperately wanted. I ended up going for the Goats Cheese + Bacon. Don't get me wrong, it was very good, however the cheese was very thick and it did drown out the flavour of the bacon quite a bit.
