Simon Lévelt Café — Restaurant in Groningen

I've come to know this place since we were introduced with Corona. After working here for the first time I, decided to come here more and more often because of the following reasons: When I first moved into Groningen, I made it my mission to find out which place serves the best coffee. I've definitely visited quite some places to see if there is another contestant, but this is still my number one spot in Groningen. This place has one of the best examples of Swedish hospitality. If you'd like to order something, you could always ask the waiter whenever they're near, but the norm is to order inside. Some people like to stay put and have their waiter always come to them, but with a lunchroom I always prefer this Swedish hospitality. They have benches with enough power outlets for me to work long sessions (I usually need two) which are comfortable enough to do so. The tables are a bit small for my big setup next to the food and drinks, but luckily it's always been calm enough for me to use a second table. People with just a laptop have enough space on one table, though. Whenever you speak to one of the employees, the conversations always feel nice in an honest way. August 2023 Across the street from the Simon Lévelt Shop there is a Simon Lévelt Café. They do sell machines and accessoires but mainly they are a café. Was a damp hot day so I took an Affogato.
