XO — Restaurant in Groningen

We just had dinner at XO and even with the 4.6 rating on Google it surpassed our expectations. Service and food were both excellent. We had the 5 coarse dinner with wine to complement all courses and it was great! We also added the cheese as an extra. Courses came perfectly timed with plenty of time to relax in between to make sure you are ready for the next delicious dish. I like to try out restaurants in Groningen for lunch. This time I chose XO. I went there during the Restaurant week. I enjoyed the food very much, but the service was a bit off. Don't get me wrong, the staff was friendly enough, however, perhaps it was too busy that night, they kept forgetting bringing us drinks, and there was a mixed up in the kitchen so we had to wait a long while before getting our main dish.
