Coffee Habits Specialty Coffee Kleine Houtstraat — Restaurant in Haarlem

I usually really love coming here - the coffee is always great, and it’s one of my favorite spots. But just wanted to mention something from this past Sunday. I came by to quickly grab a coffee to go, since I didn’t have time to sit down. There were 2 young girls working behind the counter, and after taking my order, it took quite a long time to get my coffee - mainly because they were first serving everyone who was sitting on the terrace or inside. I understand that the team might have been following the order in which the requests came in, but still, the idea of takeaway coffee is to save time and get going quickly. In this case, it took much(!) longer than expected.

I really do enjoy this place and will definitely keep coming back. Just hope maybe takeaway orders could be handled a bit faster...

Coffee Habits is the kind of café you wish you lived above. Great coffee, cozy vibes, music that makes you want to Shazam everything, and a carrot cake that actually tastes like someone cared; none of that dry, forgettable stuff.

Came in hoping for a cold brew… they didn’t have enough, so they handed me a half glass for free. Who does that? Absolute legends. And before I could even think, they offered my toddler a babyccino; felt like they read my mind and my parenting fatigue.

Had the best, the nicest experience here! The coffee is to die for, the food (we took some baked goods next to our coffees) is amazing - fresh, light, lots of flavor, moist. Music was nice and added a nice touch to the atmosphere. The waiters there are super friendly, which adds up to the good service.

Everything was so nice that we needed to take some bannana bread, pain ou chocolate and a red velvet cookie to-go. We sat outside next to the entrance and had the best view of the people oh Haarlem.
