BASTA Gastrobar — Restaurant in Maastricht

Let me start by saying that this place is by far one of the best places to eat. I have tried many traditional restaurants and cafe's in this neighborhood and have yet to find one that has the quality they serve here. My and my gf came here randomly. She ordered the Penne Arrabiata and me the Penne Pesto. Wow... haven't had anything better in months.

Cleansiness: As for the bathroom.. i'll give that a 4 star because it was small, but very clean. The rest of the place was spick and span clean.

Service: As for the service, 4.5 stars. The waiter was very kind and welcoming. Above what you typically can expect in this neighborhood.

Food: Amazing. Try the Penne Arrabiata or the Penne Pesto and you won't be dissapointed.

Location: A little bit hidden but that's what makes it special. Not too many loud tourist, quaint, cozy and perfectly located within...

I really enjoy this place, but last time I was outside, ordered a tea and the server just throws the tea bag on the table....on the table that was possibly dirty...then you put it in your hot water and drink that.
