I recently had the pleasure of dining at Normandy Resto Club in Maastricht, and it was an exceptional experience. The ambiance of the place is truly unique, blending a cozy indoor setting with an absolutely stunning garden area where I chose to sit.

We loved our dinner at Normandy. My husband has the four course menu and I enjoyed a three course vegetarian menu. He loved especially the two fish dishes, the hake and the redfish over risotto with mussels. The portions were perfect and the wine pairings sublime. I loved the chicory starter, especially how the sweet crunchy chips blended with the steamed chicory and the lovely dressing. And the dessert upgrade to the cheese platter was perfect too. I also loved that I was humored and got all red wine pairings since I’m not big on white wine. Everything went together so well. And the service was great too. The food was really good. It's a bit more expensive than all the other non-fine dining French restaurants in Maastricht, but still good value. If I had to rate it on food alone, I would probably rate it higher as we were both happy with our dishes and the portion.

The service, on the other hand, was not so great. Things took time and staff was not very attentive. Side dish came while I was already halfway through the dish. They already asking what we would like to order without even having handed us the menu
